OHSAA adds two more runners to the state meet!
Attention Ohio Track & Field Coaches:
The Ohio Track & Field Coaches Association would like to make you aware of a unique opportunity for student athletes and coaches to learn from one of the most accomplished coaches in this country. Coach Harry Marra has been called the maestro of the multi-events. With over 48 years of experience in Track & Field, conditioning, athletic performance, youth physical fitness and Higher Education teaching and coaching, Marra has traveled extensively around the world representing the USA with many of his athletes. A former decathlete himself, Marra served as Head Coach of the USA National Decathlon Team from 1990 to 2000. During that time, the team set every possible World Record in the decathlon, highlighted by Dan O'Brien's gold-medal victory in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Marra has produced six different decathletes who have reached the 8000+ point level. Marra also served as a consultant to the San Francisco Giants on speed, strength and conditioning. Most recently, he was the coach behind two time Olympic decathlon champion and world record holder Ashton Eaton and Olympic bronze medalist Brianne Theisen-Eaton. Marra was the Nike Coach of the Year in 2012 and the IAAF World Coach of the Year in 2016. He is currently involved in many coaching clinic projects around the world, and we are fortunate to have his expertise and wealth of knowledge at the High Sierra Track & Field Camp.
